From peaceful scenic walks to the drama of white water rafting, there’s something for everyone.

Rustic Retreat

Check-in at our rustic cattle byre steading which offers a small kiosk where bags of seasoned hardwood can be purchased for the campfires and wood burners along with snacks and marshmallows. Power outlets for charging devices can be used and enjoy complimentary wifi in Reception.

The off-grid camp kitchen features hot and cold running water under a rustic pole framed lean-to, cooking can be done on the firepits with skillets or use the two ring gas cooker. Ideal to boil up the kettle for a quick cuppa. Dishwashing facilities and equipment provided in a spacious stainless steel worktop and sink. There is also a large banqueting table with seating.

The site has modern toilet and shower facilities or if you like an authentic experience use the off-grid showers at camp kitchen.

Campsite

Each camping pitch is named and dotted around birch and scots pine woodland. A fire pit with a cooking skillet is provided at each camp pitch.

Bell Tents

These beauties are made from heavy cotton canvas with options on raised platforms or on level compacted ground bases. Each has a wood-burning stove with comfortable mattresses. The bell tents can comfortably sleep up to seven people. Outside is a bbq area with a firepit and cooking skillet. The bell tents are scattered around raised ground with fabulous views amongst light birch and rowan woodland.

Shepherds Huts

ACE has two hand-built luxury glamping shepherd huts that are self-contained. Each has a two-ring gas burner and there is a wood-burning stove to keep you cosy. Spacious double bed with clean bedding and hypoallergenic duvet and pillows.
