Shepherd’s Huts

Perfect for couples who like a little more comfort with their camping, The Birch Hut and the Larch Hut are our two hand-built shepherd’s huts. Each hut is tucked into its own private clearing, sheltered among the ancient the woodland.

Your hut has a proper full-size (4’6″) double bed and comfy, real pocket-sprung mattress, cosy log-burning stove (with enough space on top to keep your kettle warm!), table and chairs, gas-ring camping stove and cooking equipment, cool box on request and of course a lovely setting.

The toilet/shower block is located a short walk away behind Reception.

Tariff – £50 per night. Price is for 2 people per night and includes a full-size double bed with hypoallergenic bedding, 100% cotton linen and towels. The hut shares the woodland shower with one other hut (instantly heated by gas, so you should always have a good, hot shower) and is also welcome to use the woodland camp kitchen if desired – although cooking facilities are provided in the privacy of your hut.
